Health and Fitness

Health and Fitness is a paramount for your successful Trip. We do recommend that you pay attention to your health condition and get advise from your Doctor for each specific trip. Your doctor might suggest various medications while traveling in Asia or any 3rd world country. In Nepal vaccinations are not compulsory unless  traveler is coming from a yellow fever infected region. We do recommend that you receive vaccinations or medication for: diphtheria & TB, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, malaria, typhoid, polio and tetanus. NB Nepal requires a Yellow Fever certificate if traveler is arriving from infected areas.

For traveling in the countryside and remote areas, we do recommend immune globulin to combat hepatitis A. We advise that you bring along a supply of antibiotics, an anti-diarrhea agent, and any other prescription drugs your current medical condition may require.

Vaccination requirements are subject to change and a traveler ought to confirm current requirements before departure. You may need additional inoculations so please contact your GP or a travel medical center for further information. Please consult your doctor for up-to-date information and prescriptions for vaccinations, anti-malarial requirements and any reasonably foreseeable illnesses whilst traveling into Asia.

Note: Please don’t forget check up with your Doctor & get advice whether your health permits you or not to go into a region you will be visiting.

We also recommend: A dental check-up prior to traveling, know your blood group in case of emergency and have a copy of your medical / dietary lists. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions which might affect you on tour, make these known to us at the time of your booking.

Medical Supplies: In every trip our guides do carry basic medicine. However, we recommend that you bring your own medical kits as per your doctor’s recommendations.

List of some recommended items: Band Aids / bandages, laxatives, upset stomach remedy, anti-diarrhea remedy, Panadol /Aspirin, re-hydration remedy, antiseptic cream/powder, sterile dressings, any relevant course of medication such as contraceptive pills.
