2. Weather-Related Cancellations

Many mountain flights in Nepal, including routes to destinations such as Lukla, Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot, and other remote regions, are highly dependent on weather conditions.

Flights may be delayed or canceled due to:

Poor visibility
Strong winds
Heavy rainfall or snowfall
Airport congestion
Air traffic restrictions
Safety concerns issued by aviation authorities

Passenger safety is always the highest priority.

3. Flight Delays

7. Helicopter Charter Alternatives

In some cases, helicopter charter services may be available when regular flights are canceled, particularly in regions such as Lukla.

Helicopter services:

Are subject to weather conditions and availability.
May involve additional costs not included in the original package price.
Require confirmation from the helicopter operator.

Any additional charges for helicopter transportation shall be borne by the traveler unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Travel Insurance Requirement
